The first win of the season came in the Rossendale Road Club 11 mile Time Trial. A total of 80 riders faced the timekeeper in this tough hilly time trial in Bolton by Bowland. The race was won by Craig Battersby who completed in a time of 00:25:04. Other notable times were Billy Sewart who came  16th with a time of 00:27:07 and John Bamford in 19th place with a time of 00:27:14
